Background
It’s not hard to figure out where City of Nashotah resident Lisa Geason-Bauer got her love of the environment. After all, she was born “green.”
President of Evolution Marketing and well-known for her passion and involvement in a multitude of environmentally friendly causes, Geason-Bauer grew up on her family’s farm in Hartland.
The third generation of the Geason family to attend Arrowhead High School, Geason-Bauer was a member of the class of 1994, and went on to receive a degree in sociology and criminal justice from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and complete graduate level course work in social psychology, sociology of agriculture and the environment at Michigan State University.
She and her husband, Michael, have recently moved to the City of Nashotah, after living in the City of Oconomowoc for the last ten years, and have worked diligently to encourage residents to become more ecology minded.
Lisa founded Wisconsin’s first triple bottom line managed marketing and sustainability consulting firm (Evolution Marketing) in 2007. Since then she has played an active role in shaping the discussion within the business world regarding adoption of strategic sustainability strategies and inclusion of corporate social responsibility programs/projects into day-to-day business operations. Ms. Geason-Bauer has been working at the intersection of sustainability, marketing/communications and product innovation; she enjoys helping her clients to distinguish themselves from their competition via adoption of triple bottom line strategies and circular economy thinking.
