Lisa was nominated for this award by Heather Goetsch at the WI Chapter of the USGBC (formerly known as the Wisconsin Green Building Alliance). The U.S. Green Building Council Heartland Region is very proud to announce and recognize outstanding individual volunteer achievements within your chapter through the Volunteer Superstar Awards.

Nominations were made by the Heartland Regional Representative of the USGBC Heartland chapters for the most excellent chapter volunteers with current memberships. By recognizing excellence in volunteerism among our chapters, we not only celebrate our great accomplishments but also share best practices throughout USGBC’s entire chapter network. We are very proud of what all our volunteers’ do to make our organization a success. We know we couldn’t do it without their hard work and expertise and we are very fortunate to them as our Superstars!

2015 U.S. Green Building Council's Above & Beyond Volunteer Award, U.S. Green Building Council

Lisa Geason-Bauer was recognized as one of USGBC's Above and Beyond Volunteers—a volunteer leader whose contributions have led to outstanding achievements in the green building movement.

Lisa, President at Evolution Marketing, LLC, supports the Wisconsin Green Building Alliance in planning and facilitating events. She has taken the opportunity whenever it has presented itself over the last seven years to promote the WGBA to Wisconsin businesses, not-for-profit organizations, local media, and to regional thought leaders to make sure the chapter’s reach and impact is maximized. Evolution Marketing is Wisconsin’s first triple bottom-line managed advertising/communications firm that offers environmental marketing, communication, design and sustainability consulting services. The firm has been providing services to the Wisconsin Green Building Alliance since 2009.

2014 Women in Business Leadership Award, Oconomowoc Area Chamber of Commerce

Lisa Geason-Bauer was recognized as the 2014 Women in Business Leader of the Year for her contributions to the success of many community based organizations and projects, including Greener Oconomowoc, the Oconomowoc summer and winter farmers markets and Imagination Station.
